# 夏の定番、淹れ方別アイスコーヒーの楽しみ方

夏の早朝、4時半頃に目覚めると、私たちの一日は犬の散歩でスタートします。家を出て、まだ静まり返ってる辺りを一時間ほど歩くのが日課なんです。その際、手放せないのがよく冷えた水出しコーヒー。ステンレスボトルに入れて乾いた喉を潤すのが習慣になっています。何より朝の静かな空気を感じながら飲むコーヒーは最高です。
水出しコーヒーのなかでも一滴一滴、時間をかけて抽出する滴下式コーヒー。水のままで低温で抽出されるので油分が抽出液に溶け込まず、マイルドな味わいに。冷蔵庫でキンキンに冷やしてスッキリと、あるいは氷を入れたグラスに注いで。
## 水出しコーヒー
水出しコーヒーは苦みや雑味が少ないマイルドな味わいが好みで、毎日切らさないように作っては冷蔵庫に保存し、一日に何度となく楽しんでいます。
滴下式のiwakiのsnowdropシリーズ。これに出会ってからすっかりそのまろやかな味わいにハマってしまいました。ピチャン、ピチャンとしずくが落ちる音もなんだか環境音のような響きがあって落ち着きます。
## ハンドドリップ
自宅でコーヒーと言えばお馴染みの、ハンドドリップコーヒー。氷がたっぷり入ったサーバーに抽出するドリップコーヒーは、見た目にも涼しげ。濃いめに淹れたコーヒーが氷に触れて、じわじわと色を変えていくその様子をみるのも癒やされます。
## デザートアイスコーヒー
時にはアイスコーヒーをデザート的に楽しむことも。私のおすすめは、オレンジコーヒー。意外な組み合わせに思われるかもしれませんが、これがさっぱりとして蒸し暑い日にぴったりなんです。
少し濃いめに作ったアイスコーヒーに、オレンジを絞り入れ、シロップを加えてよくかき混ぜます。その酸味と甘さがお互いを引き立てあって、まるで紅茶のようにさわやかな後味。コーヒーが苦手な人にもぜひ試して欲しい一杯です。
シロップはときどき作り置きしています。基本は甘味と水分を同量いれて火にかけ溶ければ出来上がりです。例えば砂糖50gに対して水50gです。写真はコーヒーで作ったコーヒーシロップ
アイスコーヒーを楽しむ方法は様々です。同じ豆を使っても、淹れ方を変えるだけで、また新しい味わいに出会えることもあります。家でのんびりと試行錯誤しながら、自分だけの「これぞ！」という一杯を探すのも、ひとつの楽しみ方ですね。
