# コーヒーを撮ろう！アトリエで再現する「図書館のようなカフェ」の写真

かつて撮影のために間借りをしていた場所があります。そこは築80年を超える横浜市認定の歴史的建造物で、ビンテージ感あふれるビルの一室をハウススタジオに見立て、北欧家具や雑貨が並ぶプライベートな撮影スタジオとして活用していました。

テーマにしたのは、そこで撮影した室内の写真（表紙）です。一見何気なく撮ったように見えますが、実は細部まで手間と時間をかけた写真です。この記事では、撮影やスタイリングの工夫を掘り下げながら、小道具の選び方やライトを美しく見せる実践的なテクニックなどもご紹介します。
## 撮影テーマは、図書館のようなカフェ
撮影テーマは図書館風のカフェです。書架に囲まれた空間にロングテーブルが置かれた図書館の一角をカフェに見立て、一人でコーヒーを楽しむ人や、間隔を空けて並んで座る人々の姿を再現します（※撮影時の都合上、人物は含まれません）。
アトリエには長さ３ｍほどのテーブルを２台置き、来客がないときはこのテーブルで気分を変えて作業をしていました。天井高は３mあり、照明を消して窓辺のサイド光を利用することで、少し古い図書館のような雰囲気になります。
窓から見えるのはバロック様式の建物。重要文化財を写真の背景に取り込み、全体にクラシックな雰囲気をプラスします。
## バランスの取れた構図をつくる
次に、構図の作り方について。ロングテーブルは窓から離れた、太陽光の届きにくい場所に配置します。これにより、左側の明るい窓辺と右側の暗がりが対比され、視線が自然にテーブルに引き込まれるようになります。
また、テーブルの両側には異なるデザインの椅子を並べて、バラエティを持たせつつ、均整が取れた空間を演出します。手前の椅子をあえて外すことで、遠近感が強調されすぎることを防ぎました。
窓辺の明るさとロングテーブルの暗がりのコントラストが、視線を自然に引き込む構図を作り出しています。
## 卓上にメリハリをつける
次に、小道具の選び方です。ロングテーブルにはコーヒーカップや本などを配置しましたが、薄暗い背景でも目立つように、白いカップや本を選びました。これにより、写真全体にメリハリが生まれ、視覚的なバランスが取れます。
卓上には、白いカップや本を置いて、暗い背景でも際立つようにしています。
見えない構造線を意識し、ランプと花瓶を適度に配置して視線を誘導しています。視線が自然に流れるように、細部まで工夫しました。
## ランプを美しくみせるアイデア
最後に、ランプの撮影です。今回使用したのは、ポール・ヘニングセンのPH 2/1 Tableランプです。光をやわらかく拡散させるシェードが特徴的ですが、この美しい形状を引き立てるために、光量を細かく調整しました。
室内が暗すぎないようにシャッタースピードを遅く設定し、さらに調光可能なコントローラーを使用してランプの光を抑えました。これにより、シェードが白飛びせずに美しい光のグラデーションを作り出しています。
