# AYANO SHシャンティシリーズ｜食器棚

今回はこれまでご質問の多かった、わが家の食器棚を紹介したいと思います。特に食器棚は、その使い勝手が生活の質を大きく左右します。さらにインテリア好きな方ならわかると思いますが、大きな家具は、その存在感が空間の印象を大きく変えてしまうこともありますよね。15年以上も使っている、このAYANOのSHシャンティシリーズは、そんな望みを叶えてくれるものでした。

この食器棚は、シンプルなデザインのAYANO SHシャンティシリーズ。価格はセール時に10万円代で、家具のセレクトショップで購入しました。
## 自由自在な収納：半透明扉の魅力
スムーズに開閉できる大型折れ戸とスイング扉、家電収納にはスライドテーブルを採用するなど、使用感は非常に良いです。棚の高さは200cmで、奥行きは36cmと大容量。高さは可変式なので、大皿も問題なく収納可能で、食器に合わせて収納スペースを調節できます。日常的に使う電子レンジや炊飯器などを収納し、使わないときは扉を閉め、使用するときだけ扉を開けてアクセスできます。
拙著「[最高の暮らしを楽しむ住まいのレシピ](https://amzn.asia/d/g7nRmhJ)（エクスナレッジ）」の挿絵に使われ弓庭のイラスト。使わないときは扉を閉めて壁に溶け込むように（左図）、食器棚の中には電子レンジや炊飯器を収納し、使用時のみ扉を開けます。
このシリーズの一番の特徴は、その半透明の扉を通して内部が透けて見えるデザイン。透けていることで、奥行きが感じられ、背の高い家具でも圧迫感が軽減されます。
収納する際は、コーヒーカップなど白いものを前面に配置。これは半透明の扉越しに、色が主張しすぎてうるさくならないようにするための配慮です。
また、素朴な印象を引き立てるため、木製の食器は一箇所にまとめて配置しています。
普段使う食器については、より手軽に取り出せるように、まとめてバスケットに入れて収納。日々の食事作りが少しでもスムーズになるように工夫しています。
## 私のスタイルに合わせた収納
最上段にはコーヒー器具を収納
身長のある私にとって、家電収納棚のうち上段にレンジ棚があるのは、作業性が良く使いやすいです。一方、下段に圧力鍋やパン焼き器を収納している部分は、低い場所になるため覗き込む形になり、少々使いにくさを感じます。個人的にはレンジを使う頻度が圧倒的に多いため、それほど気になる点ではありません。
またくつろぐ空間を考えるとき、リビングのソファに座った際、視界になにが入ってくるのかを考えると良いかもしれません。私の場合、カウンター越しに見えるキッチンから、ふと現実に引き戻されるようなアイテムが目に入らないように配慮しています。そのような点からも、家電や雑多なものが収まる収納棚は必須でした。
## 理想のキッチンへの一歩
キッチンにパントリー（食品庫）を設けることを希望していましたが、スペースの制約からそれが叶わず、家電などを隠せる食器棚を探していました。当時出回っていたものの中で、この綾野製作所のシャンティシリーズが最も条件に合致。食器棚と天井の間にスペースが確保でき、全体の空間を軽やかに見せてくれる点も気に入りました。

この食器棚を選んだのは、自分の生活スタイルや好み、そしてスペース上の制約などを考慮した結果でした。
家具選びはそれぞれの生活や価値観を映し出すもの。だからこそ、自分の大切にしたいことや優先したいことを追求しながら探す楽しみがあると思います。
