# クッションでかなえる寛ぎの週末

一日中ソファで過ごす週末、そんな時に欠かせない存在がクッションです。映画を観たり、コーヒーを楽しんだり、パソコン作業に没頭するとき、フローリングに腰を下ろすとき、そして、ソファに座ってペットと遊ぶ時にも、心地良さをさりげなく支えてくれる存在がクッションです。
犬も自在にクッションを使いこなします
## クッション選びのポイント
クッション選びは簡単なようで、実はさまざまなことに配慮しています。カタチや柔らかさ、大きさ、そしてカバーのデザインや素材まで。とくに重視するのは素材とカタチ。なかでも、麻の素材は通年使え、夏場も肌にべたつくことなく、冬も表面が冷たくならないため、季節を問わず快適に使用できます。
柄が入った麻100%の商品はあまり見かけません。毎日触れるものだからこそ、肌触りの良さと洗濯のしやすさを重視しています。春夏なら麻や綿素材、例えば Fine Little Dayさんの商品がおすすめ（写真右）
秋冬は暖かさが心地良いウール素材を。ひとつひとつ手作りのbirgitta lagerqvist さんのクッションカバーが、毛玉になりづらく気に入っています。（写真右の２つ）。ネームタグのさりげないロゴも可愛い！
好みのカタチはいろいろ。長方形や丸型などを交じえると、単調にならず空間に動きがでます。
## クッションで創るインテリア
インテリアにおいて、クッションが果たす役割は絶大です。ソファは単色が多いため、アイキャッチとなるクッションを組み合わせ、空間にリズムとメリハリをつけることもできます。同じカタチを２〜３個、異なる大きさのクッションを組み合わせることで、ソファ周辺に動きが出て、変化を楽しむこともできます。
クッションのひとつに差し色になる辛子色を用いて、メリハリをつけています。
## 手作りクッションの楽しみ
既製品のなかに好きなクッションがない時は、自作することも。“これ！”というクッションをピンポイントで探していると、なかなか理想のものに出会えないこともあります。そんな時は、生地から選び、自作すると割り切れば選択肢も広がりますよね。特別な技術は必要ないので、裁縫があまり得意でない私でも簡単に作れるのが嬉しい点。
余った生地を額縁に入れて、クッションと一緒に飾るのも空間に調和が取れるのでオススメ
リビングの主役が、“ソファ”だとすれば、クッションは、“脇役のひとり”、と言えるのかもしれません。その脇役がカチッとはまると、空間全体がさらに引き締まるような気がしています。
