The Orange Chocolate from Cake House Takaraya in Asakusa is quite unique. Compared to your typical orange chocolate, this one has a more muted acidity from the orange and bitterness from the cocoa. Rather than leaving you wanting, its simplicity stands out and imparts a distinctive flavor that can't be found elsewhere. The chocolate coating is thick, resulting in a texture reminiscent of eating cake. Ever since I received it as a gift more than a decade ago, I occasionally order it to enjoy alongside my coffee.
