私（[弓庭 暢香](https://cafenoma.style/articles/author/yuba?hsLang=ja)）が生まれ育った街大阪と、少し雰囲気の異なる神戸。海沿いに立ち並ぶ古い建物が好きで、小さいころからよく足を運んでいました。その帰り道に甘いお土産を買うのが神戸帰りの定番コース。そんな神戸発祥のおすすめの洋菓子が今回ご紹介するケーニヒス クローネの「クローネ」です。
1977年創業の神戸の人気洋菓子店[ケーニヒス クローネ](https://konigs-krone.co.jp/)の看板商品。写真は、カスタード3本、あずき2本の5本入り。カスタードのみのタイプもあります。関東圏では横浜高島屋で販売中。お店では注文後、パイにフィリングが詰められます。
外見はシンプルで小さな細長いパイのような洋菓子。なかには滑らかなカスタードクリーム
この洋菓子、ちょっと驚く特徴があるんです。それがパッケージに書かれた「3時間以内にお召し上がりください」というメッセージ。正確に言うと、これは賞味期限ではなく、美味しく食べてほしい配慮からの但し書きでした。
最初は「3時間って、短くない？」と驚きましたが、その理由がすぐにわかります。一口食べてみれば、サクサクのパイとフレッシュなフィリングが早めに食べることで最高の状態で味わえるんです。
粒感が絶妙なあずきもおすすめ。柔らかなペーストとサクサクのパイの組み合わせが絶品です
卵の味がしっかり感じられる素朴なあじわいのカスタードクリーム。小豆ペーストの柔らかさがパリパリ食感のパイと絶妙にマッチする“あずき”。小さくても食べごたえがあるので、たっぷりのブラックコーヒーやカフェオレとも相性がよさそうです。
