# アイラーセンのビンテージ｜イルム・ウィッケルソーのロッキングチェア

ハンモックに揺られるあの感覚、誰しもが一度はあの浮遊感の虜になったことがあると思います。そんなハンモックの心地よさを日常生活にも取り入れるとしたら… そんな思いから、私たちの暮らしに加わった一脚が、ロッキングチェアでした。
アイラーセン（Eilersen）のビンテージ ロッキングチェア。デザイナーは、デンマークのイルム・ウィッケルソー（illumwikkelsø）
あるとき、宿泊先の宿で体験したハンモックの揺れ。その心地よさを時々思い返すことがあります。マンションに暮らす私たちにとってハンモックは、なかなかチョイスしがたいアイテムのひとつです。そんな住環境の制約もあって、ビンテージ家具店に置かれたこのロッキングチェアを見つけた時、「これはハンモックの代わりになる」と直感しました。そして、ほどなくして購入を決めます。
アームと背もたれの程よい曲線。このチェアに座って、コーヒーを飲みながらリビングを眺めるのが小さな楽しみのひとつに
最初は部屋の隅に置き、ゆっくりと寛ぐときの特別なアイテムとして扱っていました。しかし、その心地よさに触れるたびに、より頻繁にこのチェアを利用したいと思うように。そこで、ダイニングチェアのひとつをロッキングチェアに差し替えるという選択をしました。
ラグを敷いて腰掛けると、上半身全体を包みこんでくれるような心地良さ
この選択、思いのほかうまくいったようで、パソコン作業をするときには、固まった姿勢が和らぎ作業がスムーズに。また、夜にゆっくりとお酒を飲みながら食事をするときには、揺れるチェアに身を委ねてリラックスすることができます。
使わないときもその佇まいが美しいイルム・ウィッケルソーのロッキング・チェア。笠木から座面に緩やかに延びる縦棒が、上半身全体を包み込みます。
ロッキングチェアは、いまや私たちの日常に欠かせない存在になりました。心地よい揺れにリラックスし、忙しい日々の中に穏やかな心地良さを添えてくれます。一日の終わりにこのチェアに座ってコーヒーを飲む。私たちの暮らしに新しい居場所がひとつ、加わりました。
